T-bones

Oscada

Steve is out of town in Oscada doing one of his dental rotations. Here are a few pictures from outside his hotel room. He took them with his cell phone. Yes that is his finger in some of the pictures. The kids and I miss him a ton.

"Hard Cast"

We all know how hard a “Hard Cast” is. Well Thursday we found out that T-bones has broken the cast on his left foot. So we went in to have a new cast put on. Here are some pictures of him getting his cast off, and a cute photo of piglet. (By the way we have found out this weekend he has also broke his right cast so we will be getting another new cast)

New Wheels & Piglet's First Swim

We just got Teva some new wheels! For most 11 years olds new wheel would mean something along the lines of a bike or scooter but not this time he got a wheelchair. Now he can get out of the house. This was more for us than him we cannot take anymore HALO.



The kids and I went to the pool and this time we decided Piglet was old enough to try swimming. He started to cry when he got his legs in the water and then went right to sleep. He likes just sitting out at the pool more than getting in.

The Gimp

We have decided to give in and make a Blog. I have to say this was not as easy as I thought it would be. It has taken me a few weeks just to decide to put a few photos on it (see below). I know there is not one of T-bones yet because he will not go to get his pictures done. Now that he cannot walk I can make him get his picture taken. T-bones has been having heel problems for the last few months and they decided to put casts on both of his feet. You might wonder how someone with both feet in hard casts can walk. Well they really can't. He is only supposed to put pressure on his feet as needed to go to the restroom etc. He's going to have these on his feet until August 19th, so if you have any good ideas of things he can do without walking let us know. He's already discovered the X-box, but we can't take any more HALO on our living room television. Give suggestions.
