Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent Wednesday to Friday at the Great Wolf Lodge. It was so much fun. The Wilcox Family joined us for the holiday. The kids loved the lazy river, all the water slides, hot tub, the water fort, playing on the snake, trying to get across the lily pads, the arcade, bunk beds and just being in a hotel. It was nice to play all day in the water park and then eat a huge Thanksgiving dinner that you did not have to cook or clean up afterwards. Here are a ton of pictures. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving also.

Homemade Baby Food

Piglet does not like the store bought baby food. I need some help from all you mom's out there. Do you have any good (and easy) homemade baby food recipes? Or if you know of a good book or website with one you liked. Please leave me a comment with your ideas. Thanks!

Here is a cute picture of Piglet.

Piglet's 6 Month Pictures

Piglet got his 6 months pictures done last night. He did not like the lady who was taking them. He would cry every time he looked at her, so we did not get very good pictures.

The Princess Cooking

The Princess loves to cook. Today she made us Edible Granite (staying with the rock theme). Her teacher gave her the recipe. She did all of it by herself. PS look at the great apron Aunt Diane gave her for her birthday.

Here is the Edible Granite Recipe

1/2 Cup of hot lava (Melted butter)
3 cups of quartz (mini marshmallows)
6 cups of feldspar (rice krispies)
1/2 cup of biotite (chocolate chips)
1/2 cup of muscovite (golden raisins)

Melt lava over low heat. Remove from heat. Add 3 cups of quarts. Stir in the feldspar, and muscovite. Place a large spoonful of the mixture onto a piece of waxed paper. Sprinkle biotite on top. Fold the waxed paper around the mixture and mold the mixture into a piece of granite.
