Our Top Three

We have sent in our top three chooses to the Navy and they were.......
1. Norfolk, VA
2. Cherry Point, NC
3. San Diego, CA
Thanks for giving us your input. We would have gone International but after talking to the Navy they said it was very unlikely we would get stationed there. So we are going to stay in the USA.

Here are a few other things that happened this weekend.
Piglet went into the swing on the playground for the first time and loved itThe Princess had a great soccer game she almost made a goal. They lost but the team was playing so much better.
Roger was able to come out for a visit. He got to see Piglet for the first time. To bad Diane was not able to come out she was having to much fun visiting Utah.

Let there be music

After a year of Cello he can now play! This post is for my Mom and Jerry. When they stayed with us this year they had to hear T-bones’s Cello practice. Trust us this is much better than what they got to hear. Someone in Utah please help them see this. (Yes I know it is sideways but it still sounds the same.)

This is for you Mom. You know how hard it was to keep The Princess desk and room clean with all the crafts she does. PS look at all the new stuff animals she now has thanks to Steve.

New Swing and the low down on T-bones

In my last post I told you that T-bones was going to his first Girl/Boy party. IT was not all bad. He was the ONLY boy there that was not her cousin (and there was only one of them.) He called me about an hour early to come get him. One big miles stone down; sure to have many more to come this year. I just hope none of them have to do with girls. Here are a few photos of T-bones swing him and a friend made today. All the little kids around our house loved the last one they made but it broke about a month ago.

Update on T-bones’ heels.

We went to the doctors yesterday about T-bones heels, NO MORE PHYSICAL THERAPY! We have the green light that he can do some sports again! He just can’t do any that require cleats and no cross country yet. This is a start though. His heels are doing a lot better than earlier this summer. We have now band the X-box because him and his friends do not know what else to do. They were able to play it all summer and have gotten use to it being the first thing they think about. I am going to be happy to not hear HALO for a little while. T-bones has also been invited to his first Boy/Girl birthday party on Saturday by an new Girl he meet at school this year. Keep your fingers crossed that I do not embarrass him too much. We will let you know how this turns out. I am already going to have to fight these girls off with a stick.

My Trip to WAL-MART

We all know how much I like to go to Wal-Mart, but T-bones gave me the list of things he needed for School by Monday. Yes it was Sunday night and my son gives me this list. (He is his Father's child.) On this list was a World Atlas. So I looked up online to find a store that had one for a decent price. Wal-Mart had one for $14.99 their web site said they had some at the store. So off I went to Wal-Mart. Once I walked into to Wal-Mart it all came back why I do not go there. I find a worker to ask for help after looking for it in the book area the next worker sent me to the school supplies, the next to Automotive. Guess what no World Atlas anywhere in Wal-Mart. SO after over an hour in Wal-Mart I went to two more stores and no World Atlas. At this point all I could think is that my son could not be the only kid who gave his mom this list at the last minute right? So I gave in and went to Borders to pay $80 for the book, when I get there they had put one of their Atlas on sale for the 6th graders it was $14.99. It reminded me why I do not go to Wal-Mart!!!!

Also Sunday Piglet got to eat rice and apple juice for the first time. He loved it. Now I can get out more with out him. The Princess loved taking care of him.

First day of School

First Day of School.
T-bones went of to his fist day in Middle School. Yes I let him go, I did not know if I would. The Princess was VERY sad that he would not be going to the same school as she was. The Princess went into 2nd grade and has a ton of her friends in her class this year. (The poor teacher.) This was the first day that Piglet did not have anyone to jump up and grab him anytime he got sad. So after crying for a little bit he rolled for the first time from his belly to his back. He was so happy to see the kids when they got home. T-bones sat him down to go up to the restroom and once he was out of the room Piglet stared to cry until I took him up to T-bone. (It is going to be a long week.) Both kids had a great first day at school.

Labor Day Fun

We had a great labor day. Steve and I took T-bones and his friend Gabe to Battle Creek to drive Go Karts, bumper boats, min golf. They had a great time! On the way back we and let the boy's go fishing. The Princess stayed home and played with friends. That evenig I took the kids to the swimming pool becuase it was the last day it was open for the year.
